Now, anyone can be a director with the "Niconico News Maker"!　Niconico Douga, the Japanese answer to Youtube that features a real time commenting function has released a new service for premium members from today (29th May, 2008) onwards. The new service is a web tool called the "Niconico News Maker" which allows users to  create their very own news program to put up on Nico Nico Douga.

The function is available on the member's "top page" which allows you to input information and commands as well as select the studio set, BGM, background picture, monitor picture etc to make your own news program.

Choose either a male and female presenter to read whatever text you input into the program and make the avatar show various expressions - a smiling or a sad face to match the story. You can even make her perform simple actions such as wave good bye or wander around.

The camera position can also be adjusted in any angle you like. There are 40 different types of camera motions and angles you can choose from; it can be in the center, at the side, on top or even close up and so on. To customize the studio set, you can select up to three types of backgrounds, 21 monitor images and two types of background music, one of which is created by the Gackpoid.

Now you can be like super director Haruhi ^^
